We would give this website a 5+++ star if there’s an option. It is recommended right at the top of this list because of the immense benefit that it will bring to students who diligently practise the skills taught. This website would be an incredibly useful tool for teachers seeking to Improve Students’ Comprehension Skills. For this, we would recommend trying out the Visualizing exercise and the Dracula game in the Summarizing Exercise

This website contains a very comprehensive bank of games and quizzes  for children. Not only are the games well-categorized according to age groups and subjects, many are also highly engaging and well-designed. Nevertheless, being a US-based website, the pace and syllabus at various age groups may vary from the Singapore’s syllabus. Advise your children to skip grades if the games are too easy and to challenge themselves if they have not learnt them in school.

This website is not only aesthetically pleasing, it is also easy to navigate. The stories are all uploaded on Youtube and could be viewed on most devices.  If you do not have the habit of reading bedtime stories to your children, this would be the best website to get started! Put on your pyjamas and tuck your babies to bed with !

However, it would be even more user-friendly if the activites are further organised into subjects, games and quizzes. Nonetheless, there are still quite a handful of fun and enriching games that are worth giving a shot.

Learn about Geography, Animals and Science.

This is the best place for your children to gain a World view and to beef up on their general knowledge on countries, cities and animals. The quizzes are fun and each is packed with bite-sized information which is easier for children to retain. The only lackluster point is that the homepage is not very mobile-friendly.  Else, there’s nothing to nitpick.
