As a tourist, you only have limited time in the UK and you certainly deserve to try only the best of the best food here.
Therefore, I have put together this curated grocery list which I hope will reduce your disappointing encounters with fancy-looking but awful-tasting products.

Why you should check out these Shopping Lists?
Since relocating to the UK six months ago, supermarkets are the only places that I have explored thoroughly. The thrill of trying new food in the supermarkets makes the depressing winter in the UK a little more bearable. I was fascinated by the incredible variety of products and new brands which I could find in the UK in contrast to those in Singapore. As this fascination is slowly waning, I thought sharing my experiences and food reviews would rekindle some of the delightful memories I had made in the last six months.
I trawl supermarkets to suss out the best deals. While it may sound like a penny-wise and pound-foolish strategy to some people, after much internal monologues and debate, I am still of the opinion that it is the best investment of my time if these are recurring things that I will be buying. Never ever underestimate the power of compounding.
Another point to note is that in the UK, as public transport is quite pricey as compared to most Asian countries (e.g. Singapore and Hong Kong), it does not really make financial sense to run to different supermarkets just to save a few pennies if you do not have a car or these supermarkets are not within walking distance from your home. So check out this guide with a pinch of salt and I hope it will be a good starting point for tourists or anyone who is new to this country!
